She has a special interest in neurological physiotherapy, as well as problems caused by sports injury or by poor posture. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Rosana pursued a career in dance from early age and performed as a professional ballerina until moving to the UK in 1986. In London, she took the opportunity to travel, study English and for a number of years, to dedicate herself to family life. She worked as a volunteer in primary schools helping children with special educational needs.

Rosana also taught dance and was the choreographer for school shows. Her passion for the performing arts together with her interest in mind and movement led her to undertake professional training in the Alexander Technique.

She qualified as an Alexander Technique Teacher in 1998, became a member of The Society of Teachers of The Alexander Technique (STAT) and has built a practice teaching pupils privately. Rosana has a holistic approach to patient care and believes that this approach can significantly improve pain management and patient progress.
